WaveFX have just returned from filming and streaming a 5 day Motor Neurone Disease American Webcast form Boston USA.

The International Symposium is the largest medical and scientific conference specific to MND/ALS and is the premier event in the MND research calendar for discussion on the latest advances in research and clinical management.

Each year, the symposium attracts over 1,000 delegates, representing the energy and dynamism of the global MND research community.

WaveFX have been fortunate to work with the Association for over 10 years spearheading their digital output by filming and webcasting all their regional UK events and annual worldwide symposium.

Using WaveFX’s mobile webcasting kit including cameras and vision mixer it is generally more cost effective to fly their team to each event than use a local crew. This has seen WaveFX’s stream team webcast from as far as Australia, Malawi and most major cities in the US.

The mobile streaming kit can handle up to five 4K cameras and allows the streaming technician to live vision mix, PowerPoint graphics, Zoom and twitter feeds. Its an incredibly versatile piece of kit.

Peter at WaveFX commented “Cambridge Boston wasn’t quite the local job we were looking for, but we love to travel notching up more miles this year than any other, so much so that we invested in our third streaming kit allowing us to do more and stream to multiple locations simultaneously”
